Choosing a Cosmetic Acupuncture Series
For Prevention: late twenties, early thirties an occasional treatment every 6-8 weeks for prevention.
For Rejuventation: A series of 10-15 is recomended; 3 times a week for the first week, 2-3 times a week for remainder of series. Follow up with maintenance every 6 weeks.
For Acne, Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation: Weekly treatments recommended.
The following is the traditional treatment schedule:
Under 35: single treatment as needed
35-49: a series of 5 treatments, 1-2 times per year
50+: a series of 10 treatments, 1-2 times per year
