Drink Golden Milk for pain relief: Ayurvedic turmeric remedy
A Traditional Ayurvedic turmeric herbal remedy for pain relief—arthritis, joint pain and sore muscles pain after exercise.
Ingredients
Part 1—Paste:
- 1/4 cup ground turmeric
- 1/2 cup water
Part 2—Drink:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp almond oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric paste
- honey to taste
Directions
Part 1—Make Paste:
- 1) In a saucepan, bring ground turmeric and water to a boil.
- 2) Cook until thick paste is formed.
- 3) Store in refrigerator
Part 2—Make Drink:
- 1) In a saucepan combine milk, almond oil, turmeric paste, and honey
- 2) Stir over low heat and bring jut to a boil
- 3) Blend in blender to make a foamy drink
- 4) Serve
