Drink Golden Milk for pain relief: Ayurvedic turmeric remedy

A Traditional Ayurvedic turmeric herbal remedy for pain relief—arthritis, joint pain and sore muscles pain after exercise.

Ingredients

Part 1—Paste:

  • 1/4 cup ground turmeric
  • 1/2 cup water

Part 2—Drink:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp almond oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric paste
  • honey to taste
Directions

Part 1—Make Paste:

  • 1) In a saucepan, bring ground turmeric and water to a boil.
  • 2) Cook until thick paste is formed.
  • 3) Store in refrigerator

Part 2—Make Drink:

  • 1) In a saucepan combine milk, almond oil, turmeric paste, and honey
  • 2) Stir over low heat and bring jut to a boil
  • 3) Blend in blender to make a foamy drink
  • 4) Serve
